A new Earthquake Warning System will be Launched by IIT roorkee

alarm of threat before the earthquakeIn the past few years mankind has faced a lot of Problems,They had faced Destruction due to natural calamities,the lost their loved ones,But now Revolution  Era has begun now IIT roorkee is Developing a new Earthquake Warning system which will save many lifes.

The earthquake system being developed by IIT roorkee is beleived to be very helpful as it will inform Delhi,Dehradun and Haridwar about Earthquake in 70 seconds and will help people to become alert.

Dr. Ashok Kumar of the scientific department of IIT Earthquake "Earthquake Warning System" project of Ministry of Earth Science of the Central Government by the blueprint presented. Kumar said that in sensitive areas of Uttarakhand under this project will set up 100 stations. Hundred per cent under the automatic system, satellite-based VSAT stations and accelerometers installed on the device will go into those details which will continue to live every moment to be underground.

The combination of data from each station control room will be built at IIT Roorke
Japan and Taiwan has already implemented it to become alert as soon as possible.

The project will be setted up in 3 years and total Budget is Rs 5 crore.

It will be helpful to save Himalyan Zone and Uttrakhand Mountain Areas.

In this project From joshimath to Uttarkashi probably 120 km and between Ukhmath to Rudraprayag 45 sqare km 100 stations will be set up.
